Student Volunteers

There are opportunities for student volunteers at the KCRA Also two positions of Director Youth Activities are available on the KCRA Executive. These positions would plan and conduct youth events. Contact Marlene 613 692-2715 at or Shaun at 613 489-3794

Flea Market

As most of you know the KCRA attempted to introduce a Flea Market to the hall. Initiall told we would need a By-Law exemption but as time went on it has become a zoning change, which is a little more complicated. At the present time we are Rural Institutional Zone. What we intend to do is offer the hall for garage sales for those who wish it. There will be a village garage sale on 8 May and a mid summer garage sale 17 July during the Fair. Best we can do for now but if it becomes popular we could have a garage sale once a month in the hall .

Hard-Core Volunteers

I would like to thank on behalf of all the Community the small group of hard-core volunteers that have helped to make all the KCRA activities a great success this year. Without them events like Senior’s Luncheons, kids Halloween/ Skating parties, the Kars Fair etc would not be possible. Thanks folks we really needed you and you came through for your Community.
